Kennewick School District introduces new student council

KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick School District announced on Facebook on Saturday the 2023-2024 Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC).

The SSAC’s purpose is to make sure all students within the district are heard and involved in improving their experiences.

Each student in the SSAC brings unique perspectives based on their differing strengths and backgrounds with the goal of helping improve student life in the KSD.

Here are the students that were selected to be a part of the SSAC this year:

Delta High School: John Solomon, Promyse Garza

Kamiakin High School: Kylie Moore, Ellie Smith, Abby Samples, Isabelle Ruiz, Diego Angulano

Kennewick High School: Makayla Hernandez, Addyson Schuldheisz, Ambrose Driver, Mary Liberato Rodgriquez,

Endeavor High School: Marine Scott

Legacy High School: Olivia Martinez, Jose Rivera

Mid-Columbia Partnership: Amrea Jansky

Phoenix High School: Grace Blethen

Southridge High School: Ayaa Abdelrahim, Laiken Morris, Halle Hatke, Ashwin Joshi

Student School Board Representative: Mallory Dupaquier, Kennewick High School

Student School Board Representative-elect: Annie Maltos, Southridge High School
