SUNNYSIDE, Wash – If you or someone you know is in need of a turkey for Thanksgiving, several community organizations are partnering together for a giveaway on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The Junior League of Yakima, along with Ace Hardware and the Sunnyside Police Department will be giving away over 100 turkeys beginning at 3 p.m. at the Ace Hardware parking lot (615 Yakima Valley Hwy., Sunnyside).
The first 125 turkeys given away will also come with the meal fixings.
The Sunnyside Police Department has posted specific traffic entry and exit instructions for the giveaway on their Facebook page.
