WSP responds to several crashes in the snow, one deadly near Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-Winter weather caused several crashes around the region on the morning of Jan. 10, including a deadly crash east of Walla Walla, according to the WSP.

The deadly crash happened about four miles east of Walla Walla on US 12 near milepost 344 around 5 a.m. and closed the highway in both directions for around two hours.

The highway is now reopened, according to WSDOT.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Troopers responded to 16 crashes in the Tri-Cities, two in the Yakima Valley and two in Yakima.
