Judge Norma Rodriguez named Grand Marshal of Pasco’s Cinco de Mayo parade

PASCO, Wash.-Judge Norma Rodriguez will serve as the Grand Marshal for Pasco’s Cinco de Mayo parade on Saturday, May 4.

Judge Rodriguez is the first Hispanic woman to serve as a judge in the Superior Court of Benton and Franklin Counties.

Her career, marked by dedication and advocacy for the underrepresented, showcases her commitment to justice and equality, according to a City of Pasco press release.

Rodriguez has been involved in the Pasco community her entire life, from working at the public library to advocating for farmers at the Pasco Clinic to her law career and appointment to the Superior Court.

A graduate of Gonzaga University, Rodriguez’s legal career spans over 25 years at her firm, Rodriguez Interiano Hanson & Rodgers, PLLC and now on the Superior Court bench.

Pasco’s Cinco de Mayo parade is scheduled to start at Volunteer Park at 10 a.m. on May 4.
