YAKIMA, Wash. – According to a news release from the Yakima Police Department, a woman was killed in a shooting in Yakima Friday evening.
YPD officers responded to a house in the 1300 block of S 11th Avenue for reports of a shooting.
Officers found a 32-year-old woman with at least one gunshot wound. Officers attempted to save her life, however she died from her injuries.
Two men were in the house with the woman and were interviewed as part of an investigation.
The woman’s 31-year-old boyfriend was brought to the Yakima County Jail for manslaughter in the first degree.
