Utility work to close stretch of Walla Walla’s Highland Rd. for three days

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-A stretch of Highland Rd. will be closed for utility work from Monday, Feb. 26, through Wednesday, Feb. 28.

The closure, between Southeast Justice Ave. and Canterburg Way was originally scheduled for Feb. 19-21, but was delayed, according to the City of Walla Walla.

The full closure is now expected to last from 7 a.m. on Feb. 26 through 5 p.m. on Feb. 28. Detours will be in place and traffic control will remain in effect overnight.

Residents and pedestrians will have access to homes and businesses in the area, however, the City advises everyone to use caution in the area.
