Two Walla Walla Juveniles have been arrested for assault

WALLA WALLA, Wash.- Two Walla Walla juveniles have been arrested for assault following a gas station altercation.

According to the City of Walla Walla Police Department, on September 27 two juvenile males entered the Shell Food Mart on Isaacs Avenue and stole one case of alcohol.

Later that night the same two juveniles walked into the Chevron Gas Station. According to WWPD, it appears that the two boys were attempting to steal another case of alcohol.

According to WWPD, the clerk confronted the two boys and a physical altercation began.

The two boys then ran out of the store. One of the boys showed the clerk and knife and made threatening statements according to WWPD.

The two boys then left the area and police were called.

According to WWPD, Officers quickly identified the boys from surveillance footage.

A search then began in the afternoon of September 28.

Detectives from the Career Criminal Apprehension Team and the Walla Walla Regional Drug and Gang Task Force found and arrested both of the boys.

Both boys have been booked into the Juvenile Justice Center.

According to WWPD, the investigation is still ongoing.
