Two suspects arrested in connection to drive-by shooting near Kamiakin High School

KENNEWICK, Wash.-Two suspects in an October drive-by shooting near Kamiakin High School were arrested on April 16.

The KPD Criminal Apprehension Team detained the male juvenile suspect and they were booked into the Benton County Juvenile Justice Center on suspicion of drive-by shooting.

A 20-year-old suspect in the shooting was arrested in Pasco and booked into the Benton County Jail on suspicion of drive-by shooting.

According to the KPD, the juvenile suspect’s mother was also cited for failure to supervise, a misdemeanor.

The shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. on Oct. 12 at an apartment complex on the 700 block of N. Arthur Street in Kennewick near Kamiakin High.

Multiple bullets were fired into two apartments with people inside, including children in one of the rooms, according to the KPD. No one was injured in the shooting.
