TRI-CITIES, Wash.-As the weather continues to cool warming centers around the region will be opening their doors to keep people safe.
The Benton Franklin Health District is partnering with the 211 resource helpline to make sure the community is aware that warming centers are an option on cold winter nights.
Anyone needing shelter can call 2-1-1 or visit wa211.org for information on warming centers, including locations and hours of operation.
