Spring Break Carnival back at State Fair Park

YAKIMA, Wash.- If you can’t wait until September to get in your fix of rides and fair food, the Spring Break Carnival is up and running once again!

With free admission and parking, it’s a great chance for families to get out of the house while students are on Spring Break.

“We just want to encourage people to come out, check it out, spend a few hours with their family and their kids during the spring break and not have to travel,” says Crystal Hoss with Rainier Amusements. “It’s right here in your backyard and just come out and have a good time.”

If you enter from Gate 15 (closest to Nob Hill Boulevard), you’ll be greeted by the Ferris wheel, rides for every age group, and some classic fair food like corn dogs, lemonade and funnel cake.

“We’re always trying to change things out and do differently,” says Hoss. “There’s a lot of fun ones, fun for all ages.”

The Carnival runs through April 7 and is free to enter and park. Wristbands are available for purchase if you want to go on any rides or play the carnival games.
