UNION GAP, Wash.-Holiday events at Valley Mall, including an outdoor skating rink, are scheduled to begin on Friday, Nov. 17 and run through the season.
A full list of fun, family-friendly events is available through the Valley Mall’s website. Valley Mall is located off exit 36 on I-82.
“This is my favorite time of the year, and our new skating rink is like a dream come true, “states Jacob Butler, marketing manager for Valley Mall and part-time elf. “We created a place where the child in all of us can enjoy the holidays and come out to play. Shoppers will find holiday cheer around every corner.”
Valley Mall 2023 Holiday events:
Santa’s arrival and tree lighting: Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. outside the main entrance. Festivities will include a tree lighting, story time and Santa will give out the first gift of the season.Photos with Santa: Nov. 17-Dec. 24 by reservation at Santa’s Workshop at Center Court.Winter Wonderland Ice Rink: Daily from Nov. 17 through Jan. 15 outside the Valley Mall. Hours and rates are available online.Silent Santa: Nov. 26, Dec. 3 and Dec. 10. from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Santa’s Workshop. Lights and music will be turned down prior to the mall opening for families of special needs or sensitive children to have a calm photo experience. Reservations can be made online.Santa Paws Pet Photos: Nov. 22, 29 and Dec. 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Santa’s Workshop. Bring your pets to enjoy a winter wonderland setting.Storytime with Santa: Every Tuesday at set opening time until Dec. 19. at Center Court. Kids are welcome to listen to Santa read a story.
