Lincoln Avenue lane closures extended in Yakima

YAKIMA, Wash. – According to the City of Yakima, lane closures on Lincoln Avenue will continue for the next two weeks and traffic delays in the area are likely.

Lincoln Avenue has been hit by lane closures since October 23 due to a storm water project and will continue to be affected until November 16.

Lincoln Avenue will be limited to one lane in each direction between 34th Avenue and 36th Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day for the next two weeks.

35th avenue will also be closed to traffic from the north side of Lincoln Avenue. This closure will also be in effect overnight.

The City of Yakima also wants to remind drivers that the speed limit in traffic-related zones in Yakima is 20 mph.
