SELAH, Wash. – A large amount of non-perishable food items and toiletries were donated to the Selah Naches Food Bank on Thursday by employees at Solarity Credit Union, according to a press release.

Solarity employees delivered items collected over the month of March on Thu., April 4. Donations filled an SUV and seven shopping carts.

“This donation is incredible,” said Selah Naches Food Bank Volunteer Coordinator Kris Espinoza. “The support from Solarity members, employees and the community means a lot, and every little bit makes a difference.”

Donations came throughout March through Solarity’s members and employees. Donatable items were dropped off throughout the month at the credit union’s Selah branch.

Solarity notes that the food bank has seen an increase in need for donations, especially following its move to North Park Drive.
