Procession, memorial for fallen WSP Trooper is March. 12

MARYSVILLE, Wash.-The memorial for Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Gadd, who was killed in the line-of-duty after being hit by a car, is Tuesday, March. 12.

The procession for Trooper Gadd will begin at 11 a.m. at the Tulalip Resort and Casino and will end at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett.

According to the WSP, the exact route details are still being finalized. The public is welcome to attend the memorial at Angel of the Winds scheduled for 1 p.m., doors will open to the public at noon.

Trooper Gadd, 27, was killed on March. 2 after being struck by a car on I-5 near Marysville.

The 32-year-old suspected of hitting Gadd, a citizen of Mexico, has been placed under an immigration detainer with the Snohomish County Jail on vehicular homicide charges.
