PASCO, Wash. – The City of Pasco has announced the start of a major transportation infrastructure project at the I-182 and Broadmoor Boulevard interchange.

Construction is anticipated to begin on or about November 27. There will be intermittent delays, particularly between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., so travelers in the area should plan for additional travel time. Additionally, the city will be establishing clearly marked detours and alternate routes to minimize disruptions while the construction is in progress.

Key features of this project includes construction of a new off-ramp, enhanced traffic flow and improved road safety. The project is part of a nearly $40 million investment in the Broadmoor area, focusing on improved traffic, pedestrian and cyclist safety.

The anticipated completion date for this project is in fall 2024.

More information on the city’s Broadmoor Master Plan can be found on their website.
