Man sentenced to over 23 years in prison for arson, murder from 2022

KENNEWICK, Wash. – A Kennewick man was sentenced to 280 months in prison for murder and arson as of Friday, Jan. 5 according to court documents.

Bryan Lynn Wilcox was found guilty of second degree murder and two cases of first degree arson on Nov. 8, 2023 according to a press release from the office of the Benton County Prosecutor.

Wilcox reportedly killed his partner Kathy Wilcox then set their house on fire. He fled to Del City, OK where he was arrested in 2022. He was then extradited to Benton County.
