Grandview attempted murder suspect arrested in Prosser

GRANDVIEW, Wash. – UPDATE Dec. 19 4:07 p.m.

The Grandview Police Department provided an update in a press release with information regarding the attempted murder case.

According to GPD, officers were sent to a home on the 1800 block of West Fifth Street in Grandview at 11:13 p.m. on Dec. 12 where they found two people with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were hospitalized and treated for their non-life threatening injuries.

After investigation, GPD found that the suspect was in a vehicle and drove away after the shooting and before police showed up.

GPD is requesting for anyone with information or video footage of the incident to contact GPD at 509-882-2000.

According to a press release from the Prosser Police Department, an attempted murder suspect was arrested in the morning of Dec. 17.

PRPD says the suspect was found during a traffic stop on Kinney Way by Corporal St. John and Officer Bustamante.

The man reportedly had a $750,000 bail warrant for his arrest related to his alleged involvement with a recent shooting in Grandview.

He was reportedly booked into the Benton County Jail for three counts of attempted first degree murder, drive-by shooting and first degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
