Food Drive Raises Money for Local Food Banks

According to a representative with McCurley Dealerships, the Hometown Food Drive collected a total of 26,500 pounds of food and raised $66,275 for local food banks.

The dealership says the food drive is done with Yoke’s Fresh Market. They say this is their 22nd year gathering food and funds for food banks in the area.

They plan to deliver the donations November 14th. Food banks receiving donations include Tri-Cities Area Food Banks, St. Vincent De Paul Tri-Cities, Tri-City Union Gospel Mission, Salvation Army Tri-Cities, and Salvation Army Yakima.
