NACHES, Wash. – According to a Facebook post from the Naches Fire Department, a fire is burning in the Oak Creek area near Highway 12 and Windy Point.
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources is supporting in controlling the fire as well.
NFD says that even though temperatures were as low as 18 degrees in the morning, there is still a chance for natural fuels to burn.
