OLYMPIA, Wash.-Travel charts are available to help drivers this holiday season.

The Washington state Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan now for winter weather and to use the online travel charts for hassle-free holiday travel.

While most construction projects will be paused over the four-day Thanksgiving weekend, drivers should still expect delays on most major travel routes through Washington, including Interstate 90, US 2, and I-5, according to WSDOT.

Drivers should “pack their patience” and consult WSDOT’s holiday travel charts, which include the best time to travel and expected weather conditions.
