TRI-CITIES, Wash.-February is National Heart Health Month and is the perfect time to highlight the importance of CPR training, according to heart issue survivors and health experts.

Being trained in CPR could make a difference in an emergency situation if someone goes into cardiac arrest and classes are usually available for the public.

The community is invited to learn Hands-Only CPR from Richland Fire and Emergency Services Firefighters at two free classes on Feb. 13 in Richland.

The classes will be held at 6 and 7 p.m. at the Richland Community Center at 500 Amon Park Drive. Those planning to attend must RSVP for the training.
