BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-The Benton County Recovery Court celebrated its one-year anniversary on October 25.
Recovery Court is for individuals charged with misdemeanors and diagnosed with substance abuse disorder in Benton County. Court participants are monitored for program compliance, including being required to take part in substance abuse treatment, submitting to regular drug testing and attending all court appearances.
A special celebration for the first year of the Recovery Court was held at the Benton County Justice Center to honor the program and those who have successfully completed it.
