KENNEWICK, Wash.-Benton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to three separate gun calls over the night of Sunday, Jan 21 and into the early morning hours of Monday.

Deputies responded to the Lowe’s store in Kennewick to assist Kennewick Police after a male suspect allegedly threatened to shoot people.

According to the BCSO, the suspect was ultimately arrested in front of Bed, Bath and Beyond and no one was hurt in the incident.

Later BCSO Deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the Finley area near E. 27th and S. Oak St.

Spent shell casings were recovered at the scene that reportedly matched the gun used in a shots fired call that Kennewick Police responded to earlier on Jan. 21.

The suspect in that incident was taken into custody after throwing a pistol into the snow and the casings recovered at the scene near Finley matched the gun, according to the BCSO.

Lastly, BCSO Deputies were dispatched to an assault situation at a home early on the morning of Jan. 22, where the suspect barricaded themselves inside.

The SWAT team was called out and the suspect reportedly showed a shotgun twice before they were finally taken into custody without incident.
