YVC preparing students for high-demand jobs

YAKIMA, Wash.-Yakima Valley College is preparing students for high-demand jobs through its Workforce Education Division.

The program provides students with a pathway to in-demand jobs that allow students to learn new skills, upgrade skills in their current field, change careers or enter the job market for the first time according to YVC.

Students can choose from a wide-ranging course of studies, including automotive services, business, information technology, allied health, dental, medical, criminal justice, education, agriculture, engineering, vineyard and winery and nursing.

According to YVC, the programs include classroom instruction and hands-on experience in campus labs, as well as work-based learning opportunities. Students can work on short-term skills development or certificates and degrees, depending on their short- and long-term goals.
