Yakima walk to end Alzheimer’s will be Oct 7

YAKIMA, Wash.-On Oct. 7, The Alzheimer’s Association will host a walk to end Alzheimer’s in Yakima.

According to the Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event for raising awareness and funds for those affected by Alzheimer’s

during the ceremony walkers may carry flowers of various colors, each representing a personal connection to the disease.

NonStop Local Morning Weather Anchor, Sigmund Seroka will be the emcee for the event.

The walk will be on Saturday, October 7. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the walk will start at 11:00 a.m. at Franklin Park, 2101 Tieton Drive, Yakima, Washington.
