Yakima motorcyclist dead after crashing into several trees

YAKIMA, Wash. – A 19-year-old Yakima motorcyclist died in the hospital after crashing into several trees Saturday night, according to a press release from the Yakima Police Department.

YPD says at around 11:15 p.m., police and fire officials responded to the 1600 block of South 64th Avenue to find the motorcyclist not responsive after colliding with a tree along the edge of the road.

The man was brought to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A YPD investigation found that the man was heading northbound on South 64th Avenue when he left the road near Terry Avenue, hitting several trees before coming to a stop.
