YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima County Public Services and County Roads office will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, March 26, at 3:00 p.m. through Monday, March 31, 2025, for a software upgrade.
The closure will affect several departments, including Planning, Building, Code Enforcement, Water Resources, and Utilities.
During this period, permit processing, including applications, status updates, payments, and issuances, will be unavailable. Online services through the Accela Customer Portal will also be inaccessible.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead by submitting applications and making payments before or after the closure. Communication will be limited, with most calls going to voicemail. For inquiries, call (509) 574-2300 or email Monica.Beltran@co.yakima.wa.us.
