WSU Tri-Cities researcher in need of tasters for white wine panel

RICHLAND, Wash. – A Washington State University Viticulture and Enology researcher is in need of volunteers for a white wine sensory panel.

Accepted panelists will be trained to identify specific tastes and aromas in wines and will be asked to score wines.

The panel will take place over six weeks starting April 8. It starts with three weekly group sessions and is followed by three weekly individual sessions.

Group sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes while individual sessions will take less than 30 minutes. Snacks are provided after each session.

Timing of the sessions will be up to volunteers. Each session will take place at the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center in Richland.
