BENTON COUNTY, Wash. –
Washington State Patrol is investigating a situation on I-82 near Benton City after a wrong way driver causes a deadly crash involving multiple vehicles.
According to the Washington Department of Transportation, eastbound lanes at milepost 96 on I-82 is closed until further notice. WSDOT says that traffic is detoured at exit 96 and that drivers can use local roads to back to I-82. WSDOT says this time there is no estimated time for when the road will be fully open.
