If approved, the $33-million bond would replace three aging schools in the District. Satus and Camas Elementary would be replaced with a single, safer and larger elementary school and Pace High School would also be replaced, according to the Wapato school district.

At the informational forum the community will get a first-hand look at Pace High and see conceptual designs for the new school. According to the district attendees will also learn why the district is asking voters to approve the bond now.

The Wapato school district is planning to hold two additional informational forums on Jan. 23 at Camas Elementary and Feb. 7 at Satus Elementary, both at 6 p.m.
