Walla Walla in need of volunteers for Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The City of Walla Walla is searching for volunteers to fill spots in the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), according to a press release.

The committee creates recommendations for the Walla Walla City Council on the planning, designing and implementing of facilities related to bicyclists and pedestrians.

Three positions on the committee are open. Interested community members are asked to send in an application on the City of Walla Walla website.

The committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:15 p.m.

One committee member can be in the city’s Urban Growth Area but other members must been residents of Walla Walla.

The City of Walla Walla says applications will be accepted until each position is filled. Questions can be sent to the City Clerk’s Office at lneissl@wallawallawa.gov or by calling 509-527-4424.
