Walla Walla Asks for Feedback

0

The city of Walla Walla wants your feedback on how to improve the city.

They say they sent out their Resident Satisfaction Survey to 2000 people in the city to ask what they think about their services. They tell KNDU they contract with the nonprofit Cobalt Community Research to conduct the survey, and say they’ve been sending them out for the past decade.

In a statement the city explained, “The city uses the top priorities shared by residents to move new projects forward or shift the focus of its efforts. One example is Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool: The 2013 survey results showed residents desired to rebuild or repair the pool, but not construct an extravagant aquatic center. In 2015, voters passed a bond to rebuild the facility, and Memorial Pool held its grand opening in May 2017. Other topics the city has focused on after hearing from residents include homelessness, glass recycling, musical events and trails.”

The survey will be sent out in English and in Spanish, and the city says recipients should start getting them soon. If you don’t receive a survey, but still want to give feedback, go to: wallawallawa.gov/survey.
