BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – UPDATE. JAN. 22.-I-82 south of Kennewick is reopened, according to the Department of Transportation. The road was closed due to ice and crashes on Jan. 21.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, I-82 is closed in both directions.

According to Benton County Fire District 1, eastbound I-82 south of Kennewick is closed due to multiple crashes and icy roads.
The Washington State Department of Transportation says the closure is between mileposts 112 at the junction of US-395 and 131 at the junction of SR-14.
BCFD1 says collisions include a rollover crash and a jack-knifed semi truck.
