TOPPENISH, Wash.- The identity of the male teenager whose body was found in Toppenish on June 4 has been confirmed after an autopsy.
According to the Yakima County Coroner’s Office the body found near S. Alder St. is 17-year-old Eduardo Cerda. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso.
The case is being investigated as a homicide.
