TOPPENISH, Wash.- According to a Facebook post made by the Toppenish Police Department, a homicide is currently under investigation.
Accord to TPD, officers responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and South Division Street in Toppenish.
According to TPD, a 28-year-old Toppenish resident has died as a result of the shooting.
The suspect’s vehicle drove away from the scene before officers arrived.
TPD does not believe this is a random attack. According to TPD, this is believed to be a targeted shooting.
