Three suspects arrested after string of robberies in Moses Lake and Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash.-Three people suspected in a series of robberies in Moses Lake and Kennewick were arrested in Prosser on Dec. 12.

Moses Lake Police notified the Kennewick Police Department that the suspects in a recent robbery may be in the area around 6:30 p.m.

According to the KPD, officers responded to the report of a shoplifting at Red Apple Market shortly after 9 p.m. Although the suspects drove away, the KPD identified their car as the one involved in the robbery in Moses Lake.

At 10 p.m. KPD officers responded to an armed-robbery in progress at the Jacksons convenience store at 1400 W. 27th Ave.

Through its investigation, the KPD determined that the same suspects from the robbery in Moses Lake and shoplifting in Kennewick were involved in the armed-robbery.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Pasco Police and K-9 Ivan joined the search after the armed-robbery, however, the suspects were not found.

According to a social media post from the KPD, the truck the suspects were in was spotted by a Prosser PD Officer in the Love’s parking lot around midnight. Benton County Sheriff’s Deputies and Prosser Police then took the suspects into custody.

The three suspects, a 25-year-old Moses Lake man, a 32-year-old woman from Moses Lake and a 38-year-old Stanwood man were all booked into the Benton County Jail on suspicion of theft and robbery.
