The Wapato School board approves construction bond to appear on the February Special Election

WAPATO, Wash.- The Wapato School Board has approved a $33 million construction bond to appear on the 2024 special election ballot.

If voters approve the bond in February 2024, the money will be used to replace Camas Elementary Satus Elementary, and PACE High School.

Camas currently serves PreK to 2nd-grade students.

Satus serves 3rd to 5th grade students.

The bond will allow for one larger elementary school to be built.

The bond will also replace PACE High School with a new building.

The February Special Election will be on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
