KENNEWICK, Wash. – According to a press release from the Kennewick Police Department, a 41-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were arrested Tuesday for their alleged involvement in a shooting on March 16.

On March 16, KPD says officers responded to Trios Health at around 3 a.m. after a man arrived at the emergency room with what was believed to be a stab wound. Further investigation found that he had been shot instead.

On March 19, following an investigation from the KPD Criminal Investigations Division, detectives and Tri-City Regional SWAT used a search warrant to search a home on the 2000 block of West 21st Place.

A woman who was allegedly involved in the shooting was taken into custody without incident in the home on a first degree assault charge.

A man who was also allegedly involved was arrested at a home near Fifth Avenue and Wilson Street in Kennewick on the same day with the same charge.

The investigation is ongoing, according to KPD. Anyone with information is asked to call KPD at 509-628-0333.
