SELAH, Wash.-Emergency personnel are responding to an deadly crash on Pomona Rd. and SR 821.
According to WSP Trooper Sarah Clasen one person is dead after the two car crash. Next-of-kin has not yet been notified.
According to the Washington Department of Transportation SR 821 at milepost 0 off of exit 26 near Selah is closed at the intersection of SR 821 and SR 823, due to a fully blocking collision.
There is currently no estimated time for the road to be reopened.
Yakima County Sheriff’s Deputies are on scene. The extent of any injuries is unknown at this time.
