KENNEWICK, Wash. – An early Monday morning single-vehicle crash at the roundabout on South Vancouver and West 27th has left two people in critical condition.
Kennewick Police Department (KPD) received a dispatch call at 2:05 a.m. regarding an “unknown injury collision” at the location.
The driver was reportedly speeding towards the roundabout, leaving visible skid marks on Vancouver. The crash resulted in significant damage to the roundabout barrier.
Both occupants of the vehicle survived the crash but are in critical condition at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
KPD and the KPD traffic unit are actively investigating the incident. They are considering the possibility of drugs and alcohol being involved, though this remains unconfirmed during the early part of the investigation.
