BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-Law enforcement and emergency crews responded to several crashes around the region due to weather conditions on the morning of Dec. 26.

With a wet morning and freezing temperatures, Benton County Sheriff’s Deputies reported several crashes between Plymouth Road, Locust Grove Road and Sellards Road due to ice on the roads.

BCSO Deputies also responded to a one-car rollover off Canal Road and Ranch Road in West Richland.

The driver of the car was uninjured, however, the crash was caused by speed and inattention, according to the BCSO.

This morning’s slick roads and crashes are a reminder to slow down and be aware of the conditions.
