UNION GAP, Wash.- The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office with Crime Stoppers and Safe Yakima Valley will host the fall Shreds and Meds event on Oct. 28.
Need to shred some documents? If you have old documents with sensitive information links to bank statements or medical records you can bring them to the event to have them shredded.
Attendees are limited to a maximum of two banker boxes or three grocery bags of documents.
If you have unused or expired prescription medications you can bring them to the event to have the medications safely disposed of.
There is no limit to medication return and disposal.
Medications and documents you wish to shred must be clearly separated.
The Shred and Meds event will be on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Valley Mall, 2529 Main Street, Union Gap, Washington.
