Rollover crash near Walla Walla results in drug possession arrest

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – A single-car rollover crash on SR 12 four miles west of Walla Walla resulted in an arrest Wednesday afternoon according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol.

WSP says the 24-year-old driver was heading eastbound and reportedly left the roadway and rolled near milepost 329.

WSP says the driver is facing charges of improper lane usage and possession of narcotics.

The driver’s car was totaled in the crash. WSP says it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.

The press memo says that the driver was the only person injured in the crash. He was brought to a nearby hospital for his injuries.

According to court documents, the driver had been charged in the past for possession of controlled substances.
