Police confirm 1 person shot after shooting in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. – UPDATE

A NonStop Local reporter on scene says the scene is now cleared.

KPD Commander Isaac Merkl says more information via a press release is expected later on Thursday or on Friday.

According to Kennewick Fire Department Deputy Chief Michael Heffner, the Kennewick Police Department and KFD medics are responding to an incident in Kennewick.

KPD Commander Isaac Merkl says one person was shot in the 200 block of East Canyon Drive with unknown condition.

A NonStop Local reporter on scene says there are about 15 vehicles at the scene and that more information will be available within the hour.
