Pasco’s two new high schools named

PASCO, Wash.-The Pasco School Board approved the names for the district’s two newest high schools at its meeting on October 24.

The district’s third comprehensive high school, currently under construction at 6091 Burns Rd., will be named Harvest View High School after the board approved the name by a 3-2 vote.

A new college and career high school on Salt Lake St. near Curie STEM Elementary will be called Orion High School after the board unanimously voted in favor of the name.

Construction on Orion is scheduled to begin in 2024 and both high schools are expected to be open in the fall of 2025 according to the PSD.
