Pasco man arrested after multiple retail thefts in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. – A 34-year-old man from Pasco was arrested Wednesday for stealing from retail stores three times over the last year, according to a press release from the Kennewick Police Department.

KPD says the man and two others allegedly stole over $1,000 worth of power tools from a store on the 1000 block of North Colorado Street in Kennewick.

Months later on May 9, KPD says the man stole around $6,000 of jewelry from a jewelry store on the 1300 block of North Columbia Center Boulevard. He then allegedly went to another jewelry store on the same block to steal a piece of jewelry worth around $8,500 on May 16.

Police identified the man through video surveillance then found a possible location on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

After detectives found the suspect in Pasco, police took over and arrested the man on two counts of theft in the first degree and organized retail theft in the first degree.

KPD says he also had a warrant for his arrest for fraud committed in Kennewick.
