ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Ellensburg Odd Fellows are holding a grand re-opening of its Odd Fellows Lodge in downtown Ellensburg to showcase $475,000 in renovations on November 2.

The service and fraternal organization used a $262,000 Local and Community Projects grant from the Washington Department of Commerce to help with completing the renovations along with member donations and an $85,000 loan from the Washington Grand Lodge.

“We’re delighted that the renovation is finished; it’s made the Lodge much more accessible and welcoming,” said Noble Grand Dave Soltz, the Lodge’s president. “We’re looking forward to it becoming even more of a resource for the community.”

Renovations include a 21-person elevator, stair improvements, making the bathroom ADA-compliant and painting.

The grand re-opening features ways the lodge rooms can be used by community groups, history of the Ellensburg Lodge, previous projects and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The grand re-opening takes place from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with the ribbon-cutting ceremony happening at 4:30 p.m.

Those looking to attend are asked to RSVP by October 30 at ellensburgoddfellows.org.
