YAKIMA, Wash.- The Central Washington Department of Ecology is inviting residents to learn about drinking water in the lower Yakima Valley.
The Department of Ecology will be sharing information about nitrate contamination in the area and how the department is handling it.
A free dinner and drinks will be provided for those who attend.
The meeting will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the Sunnyside Community Center, 1521 South 1st Street, Sunnyside, Washington.
