New Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem elected by Pasco City Council

PASCO, Wash. – The City Council of Pasco announced the election of Mayor Pete Serrano and Mayor Pro-Tem David Milne Tuesday evening.

Serrano has served on the City Council since 2017. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Italian from the University of California, Davis, a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law and a Master of Law from Vermont School of Law.

Serrano is an attorney for the United States Department of Energy in Richland and an adjunct professor at WSU Tri-Cities. He has lived in Pasco since 2015.

Milne was also elected to the City Council in 2017. He founded tool store Milne Nail Power Tool and Repair and has experience volunteering in Germany and in various roles in Pasco.

The election is part of Pasco’s governance under the Council-Manager system as per Chapter 35.18 of the Revised Code of Washington.
