YAKIMA, Wash. – In response to a recent surge in respiratory illness, MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is instituting new mask mandates and visitor restrictions.
Effective immediately, masks are required for all staff, patients, and visitors within the facilities. Children under the age of two are exempted from this mandate.
Patients may only have two visitors at one time, with the exception of patients in the Family Birthplace, who may have three visitors at one time. Hospice and end of life patients may have more than two visitors at one time.
There are currently no visitor restrictions in MultiCare clinics.
